As of July 2022, over 84 million copies of Hunter x Hunter have been sold worldwide. The series has been published in English by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump Advanced imprint since April 5, 2005, and as 3-in-1 omnibus volumes since February 18, 2025. It has also been simulpub digitally through MANGA Plus. It has also been released in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC since January 2008; in Spanish by Panini Comics since October 2012; in Italian by Panini Comics since May 20, 2004; and in Polish by Waneko since May 16, 2023. The manga has been serialized irregularly since 2006 due to Yoshihiro Togashi's health problems.
